Why traditional leadership models don’t work for many women

Why traditional leadership models don’t work for many women

Many women don’t struggle because they lack leadership skills.

They struggle because the models of leadership they were given don’t fit who they are.

In this talk, I offer a grounded conversation about a different way of leading — one that doesn’t require overworking, proving, or disconnecting from yourself to stay effective.

This isn’t about doing less for the sake of it.

It’s about leading from a place that feels honest, steady, and sustainable.

Why a paradigm shift is needed

What feminine leadership looks like in practice

Most leadership models still reward tension.

    They reward pushing.

    Constant self-monitoring.

Holding everything together at your own expense.

Many women adapt to these models — and succeed —

but quietly feel exhausted, disconnected, or unsure if this is how leadership is meant to feel.

This talk names that mismatch clearly.

    Not to reject leadership —

but to reshape it so it actually supports the women holding it.

Leading with embodied authority instead of performance

I speak about feminine leadership in practical, grounded terms — not as a concept, but as a lived experience.

    Together, we explore:

    • How hustle and burnout are often nervous-system strategies, not ambition

    • Why constant self-monitoring drains clarity and confidence

    • What embodied authority looks like in real leadership situations

    • How presence becomes more effective than performance

    • How to lead visibly without abandoning yourself

This isn’t about rejecting structure or responsibility.

It’s about changing the inner posture from which leadership happens.

    Why this work resonates

Many women already sense that the old ways don’t fit anymore —

they just haven’t had language for it.

This talk doesn’t give answers to follow.

It offers clarity — so women can lead from their own inner authority, not someone else’s model.

    Leadership becomes quieter.

    More precise.

    And far less exhausting.
